How do I place an order?

Once you have made your selections, fill out an order form. Within 24 hours of receiving your form, you will be contacted with shipping costs and how to execute payment.

Do you take card? Check? Cash?

Yes! Carta Studio utilizes paypal, venmo, and square for purchases.

Checks and cash are viable payments in person only.

Something I like is sold out, can you make another one for me?

Yes! every peice I have is one of a kind. There are no two alike, but I can do my best to replicate another one for you. Specify in your order form that you you would like another made from that sold out item.

How do I take care of my powder coated, steel or silver jewelry?

Just as the Earth changes over time so will your jewelry. Your jewelry will become vibrant with the love of life imprinted on its surface. The finishes on your jewelry will dull or change over time. To help keep your jewelry from going into total disrepair, here are some care tips:

• • Store jewelry in a reusable zip lock bag or a polly bag. 

  • Use silver cleaner on silver pieces. 

  • Use soapy water to clean powder coat and steel- dry thoroughly afterwards. 

  • Use beeswax or renaissance wax on steel pieces after cleaning.  

What the heck is powder coat?

Powder coating is the process of applying a dry, powdered paint compound made of  pigments, specialized resins and fillers that melt and fuse together during the curing process. The solid powder particles are electrostatically charged when exiting the low-velocity air powered spray gun. This electrostatic charge attracts paint particles to the work surface and holds them during the high temperature curing process. The end result is a durable, colorful finish that resembles enamel.

What is blackened steel?

I use food grade steel, which means it is hypoallergenic. I heat that steel up and then quench it in olive oil. The olive oil seals the metal while giving it a beautiful black color. I then apply beeswax to ensure longevity of the color.
